This is a Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) sanctioned International Series Event, the first of its kind where players battle it out for the US$250,000 prize. Held in Victoria Park in the city’s Causeway Bay district, it’s only a brief subway, bus, or taxi ride from Hotel ICON. The event mixes amateur and professional races and rides, allowing enthusiasts to push themselves on grueling courses or enjoy the city’s scenery on longer and more leisurely rides. For both, expect huge crowds cheering you on and then kick back at a fun-filled carnival! 18 countries were represented in 2016 in more than 4,600 participants, with some of the proceeds going to charity. http://www.shkp.com/en-US/Pages/press-release-detail/2313 |
