Harry Chan, Concierge

Knowing the stress and pressure that business travel sometimes brings, Harry went out of his way to help a guest who was suffering from a terrible headache. The guest was rushing off to another hotel for a meeting when Harry noticed his condition. Harry then contacted the concierge team from the hotel where the meeting was being held and coordinated with them to meet his car at the entrance and give him aspirin and water upon arrival. The guest’s headache quickly subsided and a very successful meeting followed. The guest was extremely impressed by Harry’s keen attention to detail and the proactive measures he took to ensure his happiness and wellbeing.

Tina Ma, Guest Relations

During check-in, a guest, who used to live in Hong Kong as a child, told Tina how much she missed the local markets and the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. Knowing that this guest was experiencing nostalgia, Tina surprised her by adorning one of the hotel’s function rooms with traditional Chinese lanterns and festive decorations. The guest was overwhelmed with emotion as many of her childhood memories flooded back. She was extremely touched that Tina remembered their casual conversation and went out of her way to do something so kind. She remarked that she travels often and had never experienced anything like this at other hotels.
