Food Glorious Food!

If you like good food (and who doesn’t?) then you are in for a treat this week. Taste Hong Kong  returns to the Central Harbourfront from March 16 to 19 2017 showcasing world class cuisine to Hong Kong diners from more than 20 of the world’s top chefs.

More than 50 signature dishes in tasting portions, plus one-off creations exclusive to Taste of Hong Kong, will be presented by some of the city’s top restaurants. Those taking part include Amber, Arcane, Café Gray Deluxe, CHINO, Duddell’s, Kaum at Potato Head, Mercato, Okra, Rhoda, Serge et le Phoque, Tin Lung Heen, Tosca, Yardbird and ZUMA. These restaurants, boasting more than 10 Michelin stars between them, will also feature, as part of their offerings, dishes incorporating ingredients such as uni, truffle, lobster, wagyu and caviar.

Other highlights of the festival include Taste Theatre, which has live cooking demonstrations, Champagne tastings and a Gourmet Market which hosts a line-up of more than 60 producers and an even wider variety of products, from cold pressed juices and ice cream to cheese and wine. A stop by the market is a must for those who wish to learn more about Hong Kong’s culinary scene and whilst you are out and about, you can sip a glass of Laurent Perrier’s La Cuvée to complement the gourmet experience. Caffeine-lovers, meanwhile, can join coffee master classes presented by illy, the festival’s coffee partner.
