As one of only nine hotels in Hong Kong and among the first globally to receive this prestigious recognition, the award marks a major milestone for Hotel ICON — a homegrown Hong Kong brand that seamlessly integrates innovation in design, local culture, and world-class service. Unveiled in Paris on 8 October 2025, the inaugural MICHELIN Key Awards represent a new global distinction in the hospitality industry. The accolade honors outstanding hotels that deliver exceptional guest experiences, personalized service, and unique character. Through anonymous visits and comprehensive evaluations by MICHELIN inspectors, a total of 2,457 hotels across more than 100 destinations worldwide were selected. The MICHELIN Key is categorized into One, Two, and Three Keys, recognizing varying levels of excellence in hospitality.
