Malaysian Durian Festival 2025
Back by popular demand, Hong Kong’s largest durian event, the Malaysian Durian Festival, is making its highly anticipated return to Hotel ICON! Kicking off on 12 July 2025, a total of 13 buffet sessions will take place during lunch and dinner in the spacious Silverbox Ballroom on Level 1.
Celebrate this iconic annual festival with a feast of freshly opened Malaysian durians. Each guest will enjoy a platter of 5 top quality Malaysian durian flesh (3 for children), featuring D200 Black Thorn, D197 Musang King, D88, D-Putera and D-Diraja.
The entire festival will showcase nearly 50 exquisite dishes including unlimited serving of Malaysian delights presented on the buffet stations and various live cooking stations, featuring Deep-fried Fish with Durian Toast, Golden Cereal Prawns with Durian, Sashimi, Chilled Seafood and many more. Nothing can beat the invention this year among over a varieties of desserts – freshly made Crepes with Durian and unlimited serving of durian paste made with 100% Malaysian durian flesh. D197 Durian Cheese Stuffed Crab Shell and XO Durian Abalone Pigeon Soup with Tremella are served to the table per person.
Guiding guests through the festivities is none other than the “Durian Prince” Danny Ho, who will share his durian expertise and host lively Q&A sessions with attractive prizes. Some lucky guests may even go home with whole, fresh durians to enjoy at their leisure!
