Discover GREEN’s Kyoto Hojicha Bliss 3‑Course Afternoon Tea, inspired by the depth and restraint of Japanese tea craftsmanship.
The Hojicha used in this menu is imported from a traditional Kyoto tea house with over 180 years of expertise. Roasted at a higher temperature, the tea develops a naturally low‑bitterness profile with toasted, mellow and earthy notes—characteristic of Kyoto, Japan’s most recognised region for premium Hojicha.
Begin with composed savoury courses such as Seared Cajun Shrimp with Hojicha Jelly, and High‑Protein Buckwheat Noodles with Alaskan Crab Meat. For the main course, choose between Grilled Wagyu Beef Sirloin with Quinoa, Green and White Asparagus with Squid and Low‑GI Rice in Lobster Sauce or more.
Desserts follow a focused Hojicha tasting journey, where traditional baking ingredients are replaced with low‑GI alternatives including almond flour and brown sugar. From a light Hojicha Madeleine to a more intense Hojicha Burnt Cheesecake, each dessert highlights a different expression of the roasted tea.
Desserts may be paired with an optional bottle of SAICHO Sparkling Hojicha for a crisp, refreshing finish.
