Malaysian Durian Festival 2026

Hong Kong’s largest durian event, the Malaysian Durian Festival, is making its highly anticipated return to Hotel ICON. The event is strongly supported by various official organizations, including the Consulate General of Malaysia in Hong Kong. For the first session, star guest Ms. Amy Yip and Ms. Evians Choong, affectionately known as the "Penang Durian Princess", will make a special appearance as an award presenter.
 
This year, indulge in 10 varieties of freshly opened premium Malaysian Penang durians^. You will first enjoy a premium Malaysian Durian Platter, showcasing the huge and rich D200 Black Thorn Boba, D197 Musang King, and D13 Golden Bun. Marking a grand first for Hotel ICON, you can immerse yourself in all-you-can-eat 7 varieties of freshly opened Penang durians, like D175 Red Prawn, D163 Hulu, and D88 Darling.
 
Hotel ICON’s Durian Festival has always been highly praised by guests for its excellent food quality and unique signature delicacies. Each guest will enjoy an exclusive serving of Double-boiled Coconut Soup with Durian and Braised Abalone with Durian in Golden Broth. At seven live cooking stations, Malaysian Chef Kelvin and his team will craft authentic food such as Penang Prawn Mee, Penang Rojak, and Penang Loh Bak. Don't miss out on the decadent array of durian desserts and free-flow summer-exclusive Venchi Durian Gelato!
 
Adding to the excitement, "Durian Prince" Chef Danny Ho will host live interactive Q&A sessions on stage. Guests stand a chance to win spectacular prizes, including a 2-Night Malaysian Hotel Voucher, Hotel ICON Accommodation Voucher, and dining vouchers for the MICHELIN-Guide-recommended Above & Beyond Chinese restaurant.
